My beloved canine friend, K.C., died on May 9^th, 2008, in a fatal accident. K.C. had a wonderful, funny personality – so animated - that I have not seen in any other Keeshond. He was extremely affectionate, loyal, happy and gentle. K.C. was also a very good big brother figure to little Myszka, who misses him in a big way too.

K.C. is buried in the corner field at my brother’s farm house. That was his favorite place to roam and now he rests peacefully where his spirit can listen to the country winds gently whistling through the pine bows and the night howls of the wolves from the nearby forest.

Goodbye my sweet, lovable “Valentine Dog”. Thanks for being such a great friend and bringing so much joy in my life.

I too owned a Keeshond. What a wonderful breed! My dog's name was Tiffany and I had her for 16 1/2 years. She passed away 13 years ago and is buried under a big tree in our backyard where she liked to sit to get out from under the sun. And to this day, I still think about her. As well as of course you will think about K.C. It is so tragic when a loved one dies before its time. I can only imagine the grief you are going through. Take heart to know that at least K.C. knew he was loved until the very end.
