Sassie was diagnosed with bone cancer almost 7 months ago.  She got off the couch one night and she was limping.  I took her into the vet and they found a tumor on her left shoulder the size of a baseball.   At that time, the Vet said that she would not live longer than 30 days.

Jessey never realized that she was a big dog, she loved to cuddle on my lap.  She was just one month short of 13th birthday when she passed on.  We lost her because of  stomach bloat six months after she had surgery for it the first time. 

This picture was taken the day before she took her walk across the rainbow bridge. She will live on forever in our hearts! 

Last month my sister Robin lost her beautiful Lab Clancy at 15yrs. after suffering from a stroke. Clancey was an amazing dog having survived cancer three times in her lifetime. She was a gift and a miracle to everyone who new her.
